APPLICATION
Heating of engineering and building structures. The heating cable is flexible and suitable for heating objects of complex geometry. Can be easily wrapped around hard-to-reach areas.
The heating cables are used for heating of:
- Air conditioning systems
- Evaporators and condensate trays
- Doorways of cooling chambers
- Pipes and valves (anti-frosting)
- Electric motors of fans and pumps
- Roofs, drains, ramps (anti-icing and protection from snow accumulation)
- Underfloor heating

FEATURES
The resistive cable is easy to install. Once connected, it can be hidden under finishing and decorative panels.
The standard cable cross-section is 6,5×4,5mm. The cable with a diameter of 3.5mm is available for applications that require increased flexibility.
Before use, the heating cable can be cut into pieces multiple to 500mm. The ends of the pieces must be sealed with shrink wrap. The cable sections are connected to each other by special connectors.
A version with a mono output is available: It is used for condensate drain EHC.
The heating cable is supplied in bobbins.
STRUCTURE AND OPERATION
The heating element of the cable is a resistive wire wound between two conducting cores. The phase and neutral wires are covered with a protective silicone/PVC sheath.

The load is uniformly distributed along the cable length. The heat transfer depends on the current flowing and the segment length.
The cable external insulation is protected with a braided metal mesh. It works as a ground connection and improves the heat distribution in the cable.
