APPLICATION
The vacuum packer is used for packaging goods in a plastic film that protects them from such atmospheric factors as oxidation and moisture loss.
Vacuum packaging preserves the appearance, taste, and aroma of food products. Packaging slows down the development of harmful microflora and prolongs the shelf life of products.
The equipment is used for the packaging of:
- Food products (meat, poultry, fish, cheeses, vegetables)
- Medical preparations
- Cosmetics
- Electronics
Vacuum packaging lines are used in food, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical industries. The equipment operates continuously and is integrated with conveyors.
Packers without chambers are used for packaging bulky products that do not fit in chamber vacuum packers.
Single-chamber and two-chamber vacuum packers are used for low- and medium-sized tasks.
FEATURES
Packaging lines have a simple interface. Programs control the pumping, sealing, and conveying products. Operating modes are stored in the machine’s memory. Operators are only needed to load products
The main components of the equipment are made of stainless steel. The surfaces are easy to clean and the machine has a long service life.
Packaging lines vary by the film width (320-520mm) and the pump capacity.
Automatic vacuum packers operate continuously and can pack 200-400 units of products per hour. High-performance lines are used at production facilities and shopping centers.
The guaranteed maintenance period of the equipment is 1 year. Post-warranty service is available.
STRUCTURE AND OPERATION
The vacuum packaging line consists of a vacuum chamber and pump mounted on a single frame, a conveyor with a plastic strip, and a control unit with an operator panel.
The operator’s duty is to load the product and select the appropriate vacuum mode.
Pumping, gas filling, and sealing parameters are set on the control panel. The pump performance affects the vacuum pumping speed and the maximum pressure in the chamber. The normal vacuum level for packaging is 5-7 Torr
The vacuum packaging includes the following steps:
- the operator puts the tray with the product on the film
- the tray is covered with the film
- the conveyor moves the tray to the vacuum chamber
- the vacuum pump pumps air out of the chamber
- the film is sealed by the bar heating element and cooled
- the conveyor moves the vacuumized tray out of the chamber
While the tray is being pumped, the operator loads the next one. So, the line works continuously.
