APPLICATION
ABS is used for manufacturing equipment cases, measuring and medical devices, car parts (dashboards, handles, radiators, bumpers). The thermoplastic is used in the production of furniture, toys, stationery, and plastic cards.
Due to the optimal glass transition temperature, ABS is used in amateur prototyping systems (3D printers).
ABS granules are added to other plastics to improve the heat resistance of PVC or reduce the cost of polycarbonates.
