The unique composite material – radiation shielding material (TU 2566‐ 079‐00209600‐2003) is intended for the manufacture of individual and collective protection equipment against the harmful effects of ionizing α‐, β‐ and γ‐radiation.
Due to its high flexibility, radiation shielding material provides comfortable conditions for the wear of clothing based on it.
Radiation shielding material is used:
- for protection of the technical personnel in the nuclear industry and research centers;
- for effective protection of medical personnel and patients in X‐ray rooms, laboratories, and diagnostic centers;
- as protection of radiation equipment for medical and industrial purposes against hard radiation;
- For the safe transport of radioactive materials and waste.
During operation, radiation shielding materials form no toxic substances that have a harmful effect on the human body.
Radiation shielding materials have high dust and water resistance.
